Police DPO caught in the act of Extortion.

The Ogun State House of Assembly Tuesday ordered the immediate investigation of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Sagamu, Mr John Mark, over alleged extortion.

Speaker of the House, Suraj Adekunbi, gave the order at a plenary in Abeokuta following the submission of the Majority Leader, Adeyinka Mafe.

Mafe, representing Sagamu‎ I State Constituency, had accused the DPO of alleged corruption, including demanding huge sums of money before granting bail to accused persons.

The Speaker of the Akwa Ibom House of Assembly, Onofiok Luke, has expressed his support for Ekemini Ekerette (Kemen), who was disqualified from the Big Brother Naija house on Sunday night. Kemen was disqualified for going against house rules and asked to leave. Kemen had been caught on tape fondling Tboss without her consent. Tboss was asleep when Kemen carried out the act. Luke admits he was not following the reality show before the incident, but insisted that it was not easy to be in the spotlight. This is as he described the growing tension over the health of the president as “purely unnecessary”.
