Reno Omokri dedicated an orphanage in Benin city
The orphanage was commissioned by Professor Pat Utomi
Senator Ben Murray-Bruce and Utomi announced that they would adopt two children and pay for their
education
The orphanage was dedicated in Benin city, Edo state on Sunday, February 21st by Reno Omokri, a pastor and former special assistant on new media to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan.
The orphanage, the Helen and Bemigho Sanctuary for Orphans, was built in honour of his late mother
who who died 12 years ago on March 17th, 2004.
Vanguard reports that the orphanage was dedicated by Arch Bishop John Praise Daniel and
commissioned by Professor Pat Utomi.
Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, Michael Moszynski, founder and CEO of the award winning UK advertising
firm, were also invited the commissioning ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Murray-Bruce announced that he would adopt two children and train them up to
university level.
Professor Utomi, in his turn, promised that if the senator pays for the children’s schooling up to
university level, he would continue from where he stopped and train them up to Masters level.
Shortly after attending the event, Murray-Bruce took to his Twitter where he shared some photos and
confirmed his intention to adopt two kids to train.
