Forum : Dollar Rise Affecting the Value of Naira

Let's ask this question.
Should dollar rise affect The value of Nigerian Naira value to the extent that it affects even the cost of goods locally made within the country whose raw materials are locally gotten here at home and has nothing to do with foreign exchange or importation?

Take for instance;

* How could it affect the cost of sachet water we make locally here?
* How could it affect even the cost of an ordinary egg that any chicken lay even at our backyards?
* Worst part is the food sold in our various Restaurants and the cost of pepper, onions, and meet in the market.

I may not know everything, well who knows but if are reading this blog, I will like you to comment to enlighten us, particularly myself because obviously I don't know what is going on.

The Speaker of the Akwa Ibom House of Assembly, Onofiok Luke, has expressed his support for Ekemini Ekerette (Kemen), who was disqualified from the Big Brother Naija house on Sunday night. Kemen was disqualified for going against house rules and asked to leave. Kemen had been caught on tape fondling Tboss without her consent. Tboss was asleep when Kemen carried out the act. Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina has revealed the day his principal will return. This is as he described the growing tension over the health of the president as “purely unnecessary”. In a chat with TVC on Friday, the presidential spokesperson reiterated that the President is hale and hearty. Adesina also disclosed that Buhari is expected back into the country on February 6th.
